My obsession with films and cameras started around age 5, when my dad used to always document our road trips. When I was ten, I was already dragging my friends to star in my short films and music videos. One film school degree later, here I am - approaching your wedding day not just as a photographer, but as a director capturing a real-time love story.
Let's be honest: the world is so depressing sometimes. It's easy to get caught up in the noise of everything going wrong. This is exactly why I do what I do. I want people to see through my lens and remind them (& remind myself) that love, softness and genuine connection still exist. Your wedding day isn't just an event, it's proof of that good stuff.
That's why I don't do the stiff posing. I'm there for the real smiles, the fall into their arms and the magical in between looks. Let's document your love- weird, unique, and entirely yours.
Luckily, I don't have to capture all that magic alone. Enter Gustavo Breves - my second shooter, co-creator and the guy who keeps me fueled on protein shakes lol. We don't just split up the work; we both handle both photo and video.
Because we work in total sync, we're able to capture the still frames and the moving pictures seamlessly, without ever getting in each other's way. That way, you don't need that stress of hiring two different companies either!
I was born in Myanmar but followed my dream to move to New York City the moment I turned 17. Ever since then, I've traveled almost all around the world and ompletely fell in love with it. Now, I'm based in Charleston, SC - I'm such a sucker for coastal cities.
When I'm not behind the camera, you'll find me chasing sunsets, cuddling my cats, binge watching Netflix or anywhere near food.
Can't wait to hear your story and get to know you guys! -xoxo
