1: Shake it off!
We want images filled with movement and emotion—photos that feel alive. Stiff poses are highly discouraged, so shake them off and get comfortable moving, flowing, and exploring different poses and variations. Laugh together, talk, dance, flirt, poke fun, and play with each other. The more you genuinely enjoy the moment, the more authentic and beautiful your photos will be.
2: Bring accessories and props
Don’t just think about outfits—consider the little extras that can make your photos even more special. Towels and blankets are great for beach or park sessions, and favorite toys can help children feel comfortable and happy. For pets, a beloved squeaky toy is perfect for grabbing their attention at just the right moment. Maternity sessions are welcome to bring baby clothing or tiny shoes for a meaningful personal touch. Remember to take the shooting location into account when planning your look. Areas like cobblestone streets, parks, or beaches—while absolutely doable—can be challenging to navigate in heels. Bringing a small bag for personal belongings is also a great idea; we wouldn’t want phones or keys sticking out of pockets during the shoot. Don’t worry—we’re more than happy to hold onto your belongings while we’re shooting so you can stay comfortable and focused on enjoying the moment.
